Onboard new team members smoothly

Create a New Hire Hub in Notion with sections for: company values, org chart, tools and access guide, 30/60/90-day goals, and a FAQ. Give new hires edit access so they can take notes and flag gaps. Assign a buddy to review the doc with them on day one.

Record a series of short Loom videos (5–10 minutes each) covering: how to use your core product, how to navigate key internal tools, and a culture introduction from the founder or team lead. Embed these videos directly in your Notion New Hire Hub.

Create a #onboarding Slack channel and invite every new hire on their first day. Post a welcome message with links to the Notion hub, key contact names, and the first week checklist. Automate this welcome message using Slackbot's recurring message or a simple Zapier workflow.
